Dr. Klarissa Castro is a Registered Psychological Assistant (PSB94021068) who practices individual and couples therapy under the supervision of Paula Bruce, Ph.D. (PSY16248). Dr. Castro earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles campus. As a psychotherapist, Dr. Castro has experience working with people who are going through major life transitions, relationship difficulties, trauma, navigating through identity issues, and first generation matters. Dr. Castro empowers her clients to be heard and seen by providing a nonjudgmental space to voice their story. Her approach is collaborative in which she will work with her clients to cultivate insight and develop a stronger sense of self. Dr. Castro’s goal is to have her clients thrive and foster a well-balanced joyful life.
