Dr. Arias specializes in helping individuals understand their families of origin and recurrent relationship patterns, especially for high achieving individuals and first-generation college students. Dr. Arias has interest in working with clients navigating complex family relationships, religious trauma, life transitions, and providing support to individuals looking to improve the quality of their relationships including friendships and intimate relationships. She is skilled in listening with empathy, highlighting strengths, and working collaboratively to empower her clients to make the changes they have wanted.

Dr. Arias works from an integrative psychodynamic approach, meaning she brings together techniques from several therapeutic approaches (CBT, DBT, and ACT) to find the tools that will best serve you, all while helping you to better understand your patterns and story. When you find yourself feeling stuck or constantly overwhelmed with the same problem, it might be time to allow yourself help. Dr. Arias will work with you to identify the deeper issues and develop insight into a resolution that makes sense for you, while finding ways to help you find relief in the present.

Dr. Arias is fluent in both English and Spanish and welcomes clients from all backgrounds and identities.
